I saw this article on Yahoo Travel today about weird buildings (with pictures!) and I wanted to post some of the pics here but I realize they’re probably copyrighted. But that’s okay, I found a picture of one of the buildings (see above), known as the Atomium, on a royalty-free photo website I often use.

The Atomium is located in Brussels, Belgium. It was actually constructed for the 1958 World Fair.

Pretty neat, huh?

After months stretched into a year, we’ve finally updated the site and posted the last batch of columns.

We’ve still got a few tweaks left here and there, but the site and blog should pretty much stay as you see them now. Until the next time we redesign…

We didn’t make up that headline. It goes with the following story:

Sim Jae-duck has made his political career as South Korea’s Mr. Toilet by beautifying public restrooms. Now he’s got a home befitting his title: a toilet-shaped domicile complete with the latest in lavatory luxury.

Sounds as though Mr. Jae-duck is flush in cash. Otherwise, why plunge ahead with such a commodious abode?

Geez, Louise. We haven’t posted in ages but a lot of stuff has gone on:

  • We’ve posted the last three columns–they were interactive “quizzes,” but unfortunately, not anymore–from the old format to the current format: March 2003, October 2003 and May 2005.
  • We’ve posted what is now the most recent monthly column, October 2007 (Dear Blabby and Gabby)
  • We got married to a wonderful sweetheart… :-)

What else? Well… we’ve got a new website, a spin-off of this one, in the works. An announcement is coming vewwy, vewwy soon… đź‘ż

Oh yea, and we’ve added a few new features and have moved things around a bit–just when you got used to the way things were, of course.
